Complaints Policy

Building Consent Approvals policy is to ensure that it has systems in place to receive, evaluate and manage complaints that relate to its building control functions, in a timely manner. All complaints will be treated fairly and objectively and given an appropriate priority level depending on the severity of the complaint.

All Complaints must be made in writing. You will receive an initial response within 2 working days of the BCA receiving your email, and we will provide you with an outcome or decision as a result of any investigation within 28 days of receiving the email. If there is any reason for delay, we will advise you with reasons why.
