Building Consent Approvals has a genuine focus to meet the needs of the building industry. The building industry has been very vocal for decades on the frustrations they observe and face when dealing with Councils throughout New Zealand. Currently there are 66 Council Building Consent Authorities throughout New Zealand, every Council has a different way or doing things, different systems, different interpretations and typically deliver services to timeframes that are not aligned to the expectations of the building industry.

Time is money and time delays cost money, the cost of delays as a result of poor performance from many Council Building Consent Authorities ends up being passed on to the consumer, and we wonder why the cost of our homes in New Zealand are so high!

Building Consent Approvals will delivery exacting services to its approved clients via a commercialised arrangement under contract.

We have listened to the building industry to develop very specific KPI’s to meet their needs including but not limited to:

  • 2 working days to process “Fastrac” Consents
  • 10 working days to process Building Consent applications
  • Same day / next day Building Inspections
  • Same day / next day Code Compliance Certificate

We have listened to the building industry to develop very specific KPI’s, we will ensure the following KPI’s are achieved for our clients, these include:

2 Day “Fastrac” Consents

– this service is based on our team issuing a building sent within 2 working days after accepted lodgement, the consent that is issued is based on a pre -approved typology.

10 Day Consenting

– we will work with our clients to ensure good quality and complete applications are lodged with us, this will allow us to issue all consents within 10 working days.

Same Day Building Inspections

– we will provide a same day building inspection service to many of our clients, this service will be limited by region due to volume and travel times.

48hr Building Inspections

– we will ensure every Building Inspection is completed within 2 working day upon request of our clients.

48hr Code Compliance Certificate

– we will ensure every Code Compliance Certificate is issued within 2 working days after a passed final inspection, this service is subject to all the required supporting documentation being supplied by the client.
